Accessibility

Useful access matters more than a badge.

HOPE is working to make the public website understandable and usable across devices, keyboards, screen readers and different motion preferences. The site has not yet completed an independent accessibility audit.

What the site currently supports

  • A skip link and semantic headings on primary pages.
  • Keyboard-visible focus indicators for links, buttons and form fields.
  • Layouts that reflow for smaller screens without requiring a desktop-sized canvas.
  • Text labels on important actions instead of relying on colour or icons alone.
  • A reduced-motion mode that removes or limits non-essential animation when the device requests it.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and hidden treatment for decorative elements where implemented.

Known limits

The site is still being revised. Some concept visuals contain small decorative text that is not intended to carry essential information. Third-party destinations, including a future payment provider or product preview, may have their own accessibility limits. Automated checks and manual keyboard review do not replace testing with people who use assistive technology.

Ask for another format

If a page, form or document is difficult to use, email harrisonemery10@gmail.com. Describe the page or information you need and, if you wish, the format that would work better. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or disability.

Report a barrier

Helpful details include the page address, the action you were trying to complete, your device or browser and any assistive technology involved. HOPE Tech Inc. receives these reports while the project is in development and will use them to prioritize fixes. A specific response time is not promised before a monitored project support channel is in place.

Ongoing work

Before member-facing tools move beyond development, the project intends to include accessibility in product testing, plain-language review and support planning—not only in the public landing page.
