HOPE names the current website operator now and will name the future receiving charity, fund flow and receipt issuer before any payment.

HOPE Tech Inc. currently operates the website and project inquiries. Hamilton community and receiving-charity conversations are active; they are not endorsements or partnerships until an agreement is signed and permission to name it is clear.

No cards have been issued, no program redemptions have occurred and no stable restorations are attributed to HOPE today.
Proposed fund flow
- A donor chooses a gift through a checkout that names the receiving charity.
- That charity receives the gift and retains direction and control over charitable funds.
- Approved support is designated for essentials, pilot infrastructure or a verified Restoration Track step.
- Larger approved support is paid directly to the relevant provider whenever practical.
- Donors see pooled impact and program outcomes; member identity and purchase history are not donor-facing.
This is the target operating model. Final legal, fee and settlement mechanics will be published before partner-processed giving opens.
Charitable receipts
HOPE is finalizing a receiving-charity pathway. The gift page is built to display the exact receiving charity, receipt eligibility and approved wording before a donor enters checkout. Until those details are confirmed, secure payment remains closed.
An official receipt, when eligible, must come from the registered charity or other qualified donee that receives and accounts for the gift—not from HOPE Tech Inc. or an informal project relationship.
Participating-vendor standard
Before the first redemption, each participating business must pass a published onboarding standard covering: a valid operating licence; food-safety requirements where relevant; ordinary and non-exploitative pricing; non-discrimination and respectful service; and staff readiness for a simple, private checkout experience. Registration is only an expression of interest until that process and an agreement are complete.
Who can approve larger support
The final role and criteria are in process. Before launch, HOPE will publish which regulated or appropriately qualified social-service, housing, health, education or employment professionals may validate a Restoration Track step, what evidence is needed and how a member can question a decision. Donors and advocates will not approve an individual member’s plan.
How accountability will read
The website’s rotating “gift landed” receipt is a clearly labelled concept illustration, not a live feed or a claim that one donor funded one transaction. Future public reporting is intended to show pooled categories, operating totals and stable outcomes without naming a member, vendor or location or publishing a group small enough to identify someone. The numbers page separates outside research from HOPE’s own zero-to-date operating results.

Minimum necessary data
Donors will not gain access to member identity, vendor, location, purchase history or private case notes. Safety and legal exceptions are explained before participation.

Stable restorations
Reporting is intended to follow housing stability, meaningful plan progress and continued community connection—not cold “exit” counts.

Consent before content
No member story is published simply because it might convert. The person’s voice, timing, continuing consent and safety come first.
